Hampshire County Council is considering closing 28 SureStart centres, which offer support for parents, to save $ 6 million per year.
Catherine Ovenden and Kate Reynolds, who lives in Southampton, launched a petition and are creating a website to try to change the mind of the authority.
Women are waiting to collect signatures 32000 opposing changes.
Women have already created a Facebook group that has more than 370 followers.
Kate Reynolds, which uses the center of the Windmill in Bursledon, suffered from postpartum depression after her second child and said that it would have been much worse without the support of the Center and other mothers who met there.
The mother of two told: "support [offered by centres] can be financial support, support for job seekers, child development issues, nutritional counseling – is all areas of under five years of family life."
Hampshire County Council wants to reduce the number of the 53 81 centers focusing services in more deprived areas.
The Authority took conservative should save $ 55 million in 2011-12.
