(News August) — depression may be linked to increased activities in gene regulatory body (circadian) 24-hour format, the results of the research indicates.
Researchers collecting blood samples from 30 people with a history of depression and 30 people who have never been diagnosed with the disorder. Blood samples were analysed by assessing RNA messengers of four circadian gene. Messenger RNA levels indicate activity gene.
