Mental Heath 1 in 5 adults in the United States last year

(News August)-a new survey found that 20 per cent of adults in United States, over 45 million experienced mental illness in the past year.

4.8% (11 million people) suffer from a serious mental illness, 8.4 million were serious thoughts of suicide, suicide plans made 2.2 million and one million attempts suicide, according to the 2009 National surveys on drug use and health.
